Well, here’s the story. The family originally had a SanDisk 120GB solid-state drive. There was also an old Western Digital Black drive that had been running for over 24,000 hours. Although it was an enterprise-grade drive, it wasn't immune to failure. It just so happened that the old Q-group driver started the car and bought it on a whim.

Maybe many of you aren’t familiar with this brand. To be honest, I wasn’t either at first. But later, I found out that it ranked 7th in the "October 2017 Mainland SSD Shipment Rankings." However, the top brands were Kingston, Kimtak, Rainbow, and others. While most people knew SanDisk, Microlight, and Lite-On, this brand stood out with a "golden plum" flavor — not exactly mainstream, but promising.

I didn't open it right away because of the official 3-year warranty. For a niche brand, quality assurance is crucial. (What if it fails? Well, we'll see.)
After checking the official website, I couldn’t find any detailed product info — only Z1 and Z1 PRO models were listed. Even basic specs like controller type, cache, and particle type were missing. However, the seller’s page gave some clues. Based on my research, it seems this drive uses the Grouplink PS3110 controller, Toshiba TLC particles, and South Asia 512MB cache. If true, it should be stable, especially given the strategic partnership with Toshiba.

According to the 3DM hardware zone moderator huge_nebula, SLC, MLC, and TLC are no longer as relevant as they once were. Most modern SSDs now use TLC, and with 3D nano technology, the performance and lifespan have improved significantly. So, there's no need to worry too much about TLC unless you're doing heavy write operations.
When choosing a TLC SSD, go for larger capacity — the bigger the drive, the longer the lifespan under the same conditions.

Okay, moving on. I tested it on my main machine, but the configuration wasn’t strong enough to fully showcase its potential. For comparison, I ran the same test on my 120GB SanDisk (which had MLC particles).

CrystalDiskInfo couldn’t detect detailed data, showing only manufacturer-specific fields. From the screenshots, it's clear that it uses TLC. Also, the serial number starts with “20180113,†which means it was manufactured in early January and shipped just a few days later. The turnover is fast, which explains how it managed to rank 7th in the October 2017 shipment rankings.
SSD-Z also failed to detect specific details.
AS SSD results showed some variation, but it's not something to take too seriously.
CrystalDiskMark results were lower than expected. After checking with other users, it turned out that my CPU frequency was lower, and the motherboard’s south bridge and DDR3 1600 memory were older. Still, overall performance was acceptable — it's not bad, just not outstanding.

In conclusion, this SSD has clear pros and cons. High cost-performance, combined with group control, Toshiba particles, South Asia cache, and a 3-year warranty, ensures reliability. However, real-world performance is still to be seen. (Please keep an eye on it!)
