LAPIS Semiconductor, a subsidiary of the ROHM Group, has developed a 2.4GHz wireless communication LSI "ML7105-00x" that supports Bluetooth® v4.0 Low Energy. ML7105 "has the industry's top low power consumption (9.8mA when sending, 8.9mA when receiving) performance, and the average current that has a greater impact on battery life has been reduced by about 1/2. This product was mass produced and sold in July 2013.

In addition, LAPIS Semiconductor has started to sell evaluation kits and opened a technical support website. On this website, not only can download the latest technical specifications, manuals, but also download the reference board circuit diagram and source code of the sample application.
