Thousands of satellites will drive 4K TV sales in the next 10 years

For the moment, television transmissions in many countries and regions have adopted satellite television. Compared with the traditional cable television network, the use of satellite transmission of television programs is not limited by space wiring, and the freedom of use is higher. Recently, a survey report from Northern Sky Research, an authoritative market research agency, pointed out that in the next decade, the world is expected to launch up to 1,800 satellites, a large part of which can be used to transmit TV programs. It is believed that this will bring significant benefits to the 4K television industry.

As we all know, compared to the traditional 1080P, 4K televisions have higher requirements for signal transmission. Therefore, some foreign TV operators will prefer to transmit via satellite. Currently, there are two types of satellites: near-earth satellites and geosynchronous satellites. The latter, which is also known as geostationary satellites, is often used to synchronize television broadcasts. Therefore, for TV operators, satellites can be launched or rented autonomously, and users can provide television signal transmissions.
