The Guangdong Provincial Government recently issued the "Implementation Plan for the Promotion of the Use of LED Lighting Products in Guangdong Province", suggesting that the Pearl River Delta region should strive to popularize LED public lighting by the end of 2013. Chancheng is the first batch of “green lighting demonstration cities†in Guangdong Province. Last year, it launched the first “Wanjiayi†indoor green lighting demonstration project in Guangdong Province, and vigorously organized the implementation of LED indoor lighting demonstration project to promote energy conservation and emission reduction.
It is reported that the source of subsidy funds for the Chancheng City is “the second batch of special funds for the development of strategic emerging industries in Guangdong Province (LED industry) in 2011â€, with a total amount of 15 million yuan. The government's subsidy for LED indoor lighting demonstration projects will be used in accordance with the contractual agreement with the provincial Science and Technology Department. The specific subsidy standard is that the project is rated as Class A LED indoor lighting by the "Guangdong Province LED Indoor Lighting Product Evaluation Benchmark System", subsidized by 5 yuan / watt; rated as B-class LED indoor lighting, according to 3.5 yuan /watt subsidy; rated as C-class LED indoor lighting, according to 3 yuan / watt subsidy.
