Lighting Designer: Just the right lubricant
——Interview with Assistant Professor Yuan Zongnan, Institute of Interior Design, Chung Yuan Christian University, Taiwan
In recent years, with the acceleration of urbanization, watching the night lights can feel the pulse of urban development. Behind the splendid and colorful bustling, they have created a lot of designers who are excited about lighting. They are eager to use a paper design to reflect the charm of the lights. However, among the lighting designers who have sprung up, how many of them can really master the technical skills and design skills? This industry is so hot, how can we grasp the demand to complete high-grade design works? At the end of 2007, Aladdin lighting network in Zhongshan The International Trade Hotel specially met with Assistant Professor Yuan Zongnan from Chung Yuan Christian University in Taiwan. A series of questions about lighting design, Mr. Yuan used his personal experience to once again know the profession of lighting designers.

Mr. Yuan Zongnan is currently an assistant professor at the Institute of Interior Design of Chung Yuan Christian University in Taiwan. He liked art and painting in his early years and chose interior design, which also laid the foundation for his later design. After graduating from interior design, he went to Germany to study for a period of professional lighting design. The trip to Germany allowed him to really understand the lighting designer from the perspective of interior designers. After returning from abroad, he went to Tsinghua to pursue a doctoral degree in architecture. Mr. Yuan smiled and talked about this. The first three experiences of his life made him experience these three roles personally. Now he has his own Yuan Zongnan Lighting Design Office in Taiwan.
