Neon transformer safety and performance requirements (Figure)

1 Scope

This standard specifies the safety and performance requirements, test methods, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of neon Jie transformers. This standard is applicable to neon lamps that are filled with helium or other inert gas and mercury vapor, and provide a leakage magnetic single-phase transformer with rated output voltage below 1500V and rated output current below 30mA under standard conditions. Lack of transformers).

3 terms

3.1 neon transformer

A current limiting device connected between the power source and the neon tube. Its main function is to utilize the leakage magnetic boosting performance of the transformer to make the neon reliable discharge ignite and stabilize the work, and limit the working current of the lamp to the value range required by the lamp.

The transformer may also include components that vary the supply voltage, corrects the power factor, and suppresses line disturbances.

3.2 power supply voltage

The 50 Hz voltage supplied to the neon transformer is the primary voltage of the transformer. The rating specified in this standard is 220V.

3.3 rated output voltage

The transformer inputs the rated supply voltage and the output voltage when the output is open.

3.4 rated input current

When the output is short-circuited, the input current is input to the transformer input current at the rated supply voltage of the rated frequency.

3.5 rated output current

When the output is short-circuited, the input current is input to the rated output voltage of the transformer at the rated supply voltage.

3.6 rated load

Input the rated power supply voltage transformer output end of the Xenon neon with an outer diameter of 12mm and an inflation pressure of 1.07-1.33Kpa (8-10 Torr). Adjust the length of the lamp as appropriate. The operating current of the lamp is 0.8±0.025 of the rated output short-circuit current. The length of the pipe is the rated load of the transformer (the general rated load is marked by the effective luminous length of the lamp).

3.7 rated capacity

The product of the rated input supply voltage and the rated input short-circuit power supply.

3.8 rated load input current

At the rated supply voltage, the current input to the transformer when the output of the transformer is connected to the rated load.

3.9 rated input power

The product of the rated input supply voltage of the transformer and the rated input current.

3.10 rated load input power

The product of the rated input supply voltage of the transformer and the rated load input current.

3.11 power factor

The ratio of the input power to the product of the rated input voltage and the rated load input current at rated supply voltage and rated load.
