Samsung Electronics claimed that the ITC lawsuit involves some basic circuit design patents, which can make the circuit smaller, faster and better. The two companies stated in the statement that the settlement agreement means that the parties cancel all lawsuits of the District Court, the US ITC, and the US Patent and Trademark Office.
