21ic News Toshiba Corporation will introduce a 200mA output single LDO regulator built using the newly developed micro CMOS process. Features include low noise output, high ripple rejection, high speed load response and low dropout.

The new LDO regulator has a low noise output of 18μVrms (2.5V output) and excellent rejection at 62dB for high frequency (2.5V output, f = 10kHz). In addition, this product achieves excellent responsiveness of ΔVOUT = ±65mV (IOUT = 1mA ⇔ 150mA, COUT = 1.0μF) at high speed loads, and the dropout voltage can be as low as 80mV (2.5V output, IOUT = 100mA).
The product is available in an ultra-compact WCSP4 package of 0.79mm × 0.79mm × 0.5mm to ensure compatibility with applications requiring high-density packaging such as mobile devices.
The product is now sampling and is scheduled to begin mass production in January next year.
