Introduction to the main author: Zhou Taiming, Professor, Department of Light Source and Lighting Engineering, Fudan University
Professor Zhou Taiming has been engaged in the research and teaching of light source and lighting since he graduated from the Physics Department of Fudan University in 1964. In the 1980s, he studied at the Lighting Research Institute of Matsushita, Japan and the Lawrence Laboratory of the University of California (Berkeley). In 1990, he was appointed by the Science and Technology Committee of the Ministry of Light Industry of China as a member of the China Lighting Electrical Experts Group. In 1999, he was elected as a member of the Shanghai Automotive Engineering Society and a member of the China Lighting Society. In 2003, he was appointed as an expert of the Shanghai Optoelectronics Industry Association Expert Committee. Since 2001, he has served as an expert in Shanghai government procurement consulting.
