Small-Scale Testing Method
1) Take a certain volume of heavy metal wastewater.
2) Adjust the pH of the sample to approximately 10 using pH neutralizing powder. Measure the concentration of heavy metal ions and calculate the required dosage of MCP-1 based on the detected level.
3) Add MCP-1 to the wastewater and mix thoroughly.
On-Site Application
1) Directly add MCP-1 to the wastewater containing heavy metal ions. It's recommended to stir every 10 minutes for optimal performance.
2) For unknown concentrations, laboratory testing is advised to determine the correct dosage.
3) For varying concentrations, the dosage can be automatically controlled using ORP (Oxidation-Reduction Potential) monitoring systems.
Usage Precautions
1. First adjust the pH of the wastewater using a pH complex alkali. After adjusting the pH, test the heavy metal ion content and calculate the required amount of MCP-1 accordingly.
2. Dilute the product after use. A typical dilution ratio is between 5% and 15%. Use tap water or other non-metallic ion water—avoid using groundwater.
3. After diluting, it’s recommended to add the agent after neutralization to reduce consumption and lower processing costs. You may also add an inorganic or organic flocculant post-chelation to enhance treatment efficiency.
4. The agent is a strong alkaline liquid. Avoid direct skin contact. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
