Currently, Zhaochi Energy has a comprehensive layout across upstream, midstream, and downstream segments. In terms of packaging, the company currently produces 4,000 KK per month and plans to expand by an additional 1,000 lines next year. For light bar production, the daily output is 530 units. Zhaochi focuses on two major areas: lighting and backlighting, while maintaining strategic partnerships in its supply chain and upholding a robust quality management system.
The company aims to achieve full product coverage in TV backlighting, mobile phone backlighting, and indoor lighting. According to Quan Jinsong, one of the defining features of Zhaochi Energy is its dedication to the artisan spirit. The company specializes exclusively in lighting and backlighting, with a strong emphasis on functionality. It continuously improves aspects such as resistance to vulcanization, TJ control, light efficiency, light quality, VOCs, optical density, TC control, and heat retention.
In terms of material research, Zhaochi has invested heavily in stents, phosphors, silica gels, and wires. For example, in phosphor applications, the company has developed differentiated usage methods that significantly enhance phosphor efficiency. Regarding wire materials, they use both gold and alloy wires, and they also focus on various aspects of silica gel, including cost, vulcanization, and TC control.
Quality management is another key area where Zhaochi excels. Hardware investment plays a crucial role, and the company has made significant investments in equipment. However, effective quality control also requires a comprehensive system, including monitoring and feedback mechanisms. These systems ensure that Zhaochi maintains high-quality standards.
Smart manufacturing is another manifestation of the artisan spirit. Zhaochi is developing four major systems: the Production Management System (MES), Equipment Management System (EM), Yield Implementation Monitoring System, and Automated Production Management System. These systems cover database management, barcode control, real-time monitoring, inventory management, and intelligent quality analysis.

Three years ago, the company began investing in CSP packaging technology, which now meets domestic standards and is used in large-scale applications like Samsung and LG’s TV backlights. Zhaochi also holds a leading position in electronic power technology, particularly for TV applications.
The company has made substantial efforts in global patents, investing significant capital, manpower, and resources. They have secured authorizations through partnerships and joint development initiatives. Additionally, Zhaochi has focused on lens technology, ensuring it meets the needs of different light sources, and has made considerable progress in this field.
Regarding filaments, Zhaochi entered the market later and faced a two-year suspension before re-entering last year. Since then, the company has focused on product differentiation and resource allocation. As a result, their filament lamps have a much lower junction temperature—30 degrees lower than competitors.
Finally, in the realm of Mini-LED, Zhaochi is aligned with international manufacturers. While Micro-LED presents some challenges, the company continues to push forward in innovation.
