Osram white LED brightness and efficiency are both high
Osram has announced that its R&D engineers have made breakthroughs in white LEDs, creating new heights in both brightness and luminous efficiency.
It is said that at an operating current of 350 mA, the peak brightness reaches 155 lm and the luminous efficiency is 136 lm/W. To achieve this effect, the researchers used a new 1 square millimeter LED Light-emitting component. This LED prototype has a color temperature of 5000K and a color coordinate of 0.349/0.393 (cx/cy).
In addition, OSRAM said that this LED can also work at 1.4A current, the brightness can reach 500lm, potential applications include projectors, car lights and other occasions requiring high-brightness lighting, then only a single LED can meet people's needs . Next, OSRAM is ready to bring this technology quickly from the lab to the market.
