The connector market touches the lowest point?

The Chinese connector market bottomed out in the second quarter and demand is growing. The situation in the US connector market is also improving and it seems to have bottomed out in July. The Japanese and European markets are also expected to reach the bottom in the third quarter.

iSuppli believes that orders in the second quarter will increase 15-16% from the first quarter, and shipments will increase by 7-9%. This trend is consistent with other commodity markets. However, the replenishment of stocks in the connector sector is not very strong.

Prices for raw materials such as copper and gold rose, while price pressure from customers continued to squeeze profits.

iSuppli Corporation predicts that prices will rise and any further price increase by suppliers will be very modest. It is expected that the delivery period will be extended by the end of the year.
