(CMM) and China Internet TV, jointly released the results of the "2011 Large-scale Survey - Consumer Survey of the Cloud Age Living Conditions" - "The Life Style of the Cloud Age." "Consumer Survey Report", the world's first debut "cloud TV industry recommended standards." Industry sources said that the release of cloud TV standards will enable domestic color TVs to take more initiative in the high-end television field.

In the survey of cloud TV purchase factors, 11.3% of respondents were looking at the richness of the functions, applications and content of cloud TV. Hao Yabin, vice president of the China Electronics and Video Industry Association, believes that, unlike LCD panels, Chinese manufacturers and technology are not backward compared to foreign companies in smart applications, and Chinese companies have more advantages in grasping consumer demand.

According to reports, the "Cloud TV Industry Recommendation Standards" launched this time have fully defined cloud television systems, platforms, hardware, software, applications, interactions, services, and industrial chains. This is the first time in the world. The standard believes that cloud TV should have an open operating system tailored to televisions, such as Android+, windows, and other operating systems.

According to reports, the biggest advantage of Cloud TV is its massive cloud resources and powerful cloud capabilities. The standard also puts forward requirements for this: Cloud TV should have a professional cloud platform to achieve the sharing of massive resources and application software; it has powerful cloud applications and cloud functions, bringing about complete user-centered perfect interaction and experience.

The survey found that the vast majority of consumers hope that the functions and applications of cloud TV can be continuously expanded and upgraded to meet their individual needs. This means that Cloud TV is more than just a TV set. It must also include a series of cloud services. The standard puts forward a clear requirement for this: Cloud TV must be able to provide stable, secure and sustainable personalized online cloud services, and support the continuous expansion and upgrade of television systems and functions. Such as business, shopping, electronic insurance policies, etc., and can intelligently identify user information, identify user preferences, quickly respond to user needs, and provide professional and reliable one-on-one services in a timely manner. The standard also states that companies must build a multi-level, fully-open cloud ecosystem as a cloud TV application and content guarantee.
