GE Consumer & Industrial Products recently introduced a new generation of outdoor lighting systems represented by GE EvolveTM series of regional lighting LED systems to the Chinese market through a series of roadshows. Compared with the traditional metal halide lamp, it can save 30% energy consumption; the design life is about 50,000 hours in about 10 years, which is four times that recommended by the standard HID light source system. The introduction of the system gives a new meaning to outdoor lighting.

The LED system has uniform illumination distribution and high color rendering index, which greatly reduces roadside illumination blind spots and reflective bright spots. Its excellent vertical illumination increases the surface recognition of objects, improves the clarity of surveillance video and the recognition of pedestrians. Its uniform illumination effect greatly reduces the glare effect of HID lamps when they have different viewing angles.
The GE Evolve range of regional lighting LED systems replaces the traditional 400 watt HID system with 97 watts to 214 watts depending on the light distribution requirements. At the same time, it has a higher color temperature (5700K) and a color rendering index higher than 70 compared to the standard HID, while achieving lower lumens and energy consumption. This is mainly due to the advanced optical design of GE luminaires, which can make full use of the advantages of LED lamps to accurately project light. The Evolve series of LED lamps are RoHS compliant and do not contain mercury or lead.
