The China Household Electrical Appliances Association announced that it will organize a special subsidy program for small home appliances and kitchen appliances. The event will start nationwide from August 10, with a maximum subsidy of 10% and a trial period of 40 days.

This is the first subsidy for home appliances and home appliances that was initiated by the home appliance industry. The stores participating in this subsidy include national and local appliance stores such as Gome, Yongle, Dazhong, Black Swan, Golden Sun, and Northern Electric. When consumers purchase at the above-mentioned stores, they can enjoy special cash subsidies on the basis of the transaction price. The maximum subsidy can reach 10% of the total transaction price. The amount of subsidy will be jointly financed by home appliance companies and stores participating in subsidy activities.

Gome senior vice president Su Xianhua said that from the information feedback store, consumers buy small household appliances far more frequently than home appliances, the introduction of the relevant subsidy policy is expected to better activate the market.

Previously, third-party data showed that in the first quarter of 2012, China's home appliance market was only 263.1 billion yuan, down 10.1% year-on-year, of which black market fell 24.6% year-on-year, white market fell 21.5% year-on-year, and small household appliances market also fell 5.2% year-on-year. %.

Xu Dongsheng, secretary-general of the China Household Electrical Appliances Association, expects that if the special subsidy for small household appliances and kitchen appliances is implemented smoothly, it is expected to drive the relevant industry to a market size of several billion yuan.
