To facilitate consumer access to relevant information, the Federal Trade Commission is considering adopting a new labeling method to express light output. The committee may consider replacing the current labeling method with a uniform label.
The Federal Trade Commission held a public meeting on September 15 to discuss the issue of light bulb labels. Members of the public may submit their comments before the meeting, but no later than September 29.
