A new method for preparing rare earth luminescent materials was introduced at the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and was recently authorized by the US Patent and Trademark Office.
According to reports, the preparation method of new rare earth luminescent materials has independent intellectual property rights. It is obtained by mixing the activator with the matrix compound and directly burning at high temperature in the air to obtain a single-type double-doped rare earth trichromatic luminescent material. The new preparation method does not require any reducing agent, and the specific reduction process is omitted, and the preparation process is simple and easy to operate. The new luminescent materials are a matrix that avoids the loss of optical energy caused by multi-matrix interactions.
Rare earth trichromatic luminescent materials have been widely used in lighting and display fields due to their high luminous efficiency, long life and good color rendering. However, in the production process, especially in the complex process of the reduction process, there are sometimes even pollution or unsafe factors. In addition, the degree of aging produced by several compounds will vary. These will affect the luminescence properties of the material and the life of the lamp. The new rare earth luminescent material preparation method solves this problem.
It is understood that the invention was completed by the research team of Shi Chunming, a researcher at the Changchun Yinghua Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. At present, the principles and related art of the invention have been extended to sulfur oxides and porous materials. This broadens the field for China to explore new luminescent materials and their applications.
