Molex has launched the Brad M40 overmolded wire harness, a robust solution designed for high-power applications such as servo motors and industrial automation systems. This product is part of Molex’s broader range of circular connector overmolded wiresets, which spans from M5 to M40. The M40 series has now been expanded to include field wiring connectors and panel mount sockets, making it even more versatile for a wide range of industrial uses.

Hannah Lena Gehring, Product Manager at Molex, explained: “The Brad M40 overmolded wireset features a 71 mm overmold length, one of the shortest in the industry, allowing it to fit into tight spaces without compromising performance. To ensure reliability, especially in harsh environments, the WSOR-shielded cables have become the standard. These cables are built to withstand extreme conditions while delivering consistent performance.”

The Brad M40 overmolded wire sets come in standard lengths of 2, 3, 5, 7, and 10 meters. They are available with industry-standard 6-pole (3+2+PE) and 8-pole (4+3+PE) configurations. The power pins are rated for 37 amps, while the signal pins handle up to 16 amps. With a connection time of less than one minute, the Brad M40 helps reduce equipment downtime and maintenance costs. The pre-assembled design also minimizes errors during installation, ensuring faster and more accurate deployment.

These wire sets are IP67 rated after mating, offering protection against dust and temporary immersion in water up to 1 meter. They are engineered to meet rigorous standards, delivering high reliability and performance in demanding environments such as welding, metalworking, and machining. Whether in automated production lines or heavy-duty machinery, the Brad M40 is built to last.

PWM Solar Charge Controller

Integrating Bosin's PWM solar controller into your energy storage system solution provides you with an effective and energy-saving solution. PWM solar controllers operate by rapidly switching the power on and off at a very high frequency. When the solar panels generate more power than is required, the PWM controller turns off the power for a short period of time during each cycle, thereby reducing the voltage. Conversely, when power demand exceeds supply, the controller increases the voltage by extending the power on time. This dynamic adjustment ensures that the Battery is charged at maximum capacity without overheating.Compared with MPPT solar controller, PWM solar controller has a relatively lower price and has a price advantage. This modulation process ensures that the electrical energy is used efficiently, preventing overcharging and undercharging of batteries, and maximizing the performance of the solar panels. Some models offer smart grid integration capabilities, allowing for seamless connection to home networks, providing real-time data about energy production and consumption.
