The Cypress CYW43455 single-chip combo solution delivers faster, high-performance 802.11ac Wi-Fi, along with advanced coexistence algorithms that allow seamless Bluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) operations for audio, video, and sensor-based applications. This combination also supports low-power BLE connectivity for smartphones, sensors, and Bluetooth Mesh networks.
The 802.11ac-based Wi-Fi network offers low latency and high-speed transmission, making it ideal for secure cloud connectivity. With the CYW43455 SoC integrated into the Raspberry Pi 3 B+ board, developers can quickly build industrial IoT systems and smart home prototypes that leverage the benefits of 802.11ac technology. The Raspberry Pi 3 B+ features a 1.4GHz 64-bit quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, full-size HDMI, four standard USB ports, Gigabit Ethernet via USB 2.0, Power over Ethernet, and connectors for cameras and displays.
The CYW43455 SoC supports dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz channels, with throughput up to 433 Mbps.
