Building on the existing MLG0402Q series, TDK Corporation (President: Sakamoto Kenhiro) has introduced an expanded product line featuring the industry's largest inductance value of 33nH. This new development was launched into mass production in August 2012.
Through advanced coil pattern design and improvements in material and manufacturing technologies—areas where TDK excels—the company has achieved further miniaturization and multi-layered structures. This breakthrough has enabled the expansion of inductance values, increasing the maximum inductance from 15nH to 33nH across four new products. These components are particularly well-suited for high-frequency circuits in smartphones and feature phones, offering a broader range of options for matching applications.
The new product development has significantly enhanced the MLG0402Q series, now offering a total of 55 complete product lines. The series covers inductance values ranging from 0.2nH to 33nH, with rated currents up to 350mA and DC resistance values from 0.03Ω to 2.71Ω. The operating temperature range spans from -55°C to +125°C, making these inductors ideal not only for mobile phones but also for other high-frequency applications in mobile communication devices.
