The SAA7114H is a multi-standard video decoder that supports I2C bus control. It is designed to convert various TV signal inputs into a standardized YUV format. The schematic diagram of the application circuit is shown in the figure below.

Pin 20 (AI11): Input for the Y (luminance) signal, sourced from the S-terminal.

Pin 16 (AI21): Input for the C (chrominance) signal, also from the S-terminal.

Pin 12 (AI23): AV1 video signal input, connected via an external AV jack.

Pin 31 (SCL): I2C clock line, connected to pin 207 of U400 (gm5010).

Pin 32 (SDA): I2C data line, connected to pin 208 of U400 (gm5010).

Pin 27 (CE): Reset voltage input, connected to pin 13 of U400 (grn5010).

Pin 7 (XTALI): Clock input, using an external 24.576MHz voltage-controlled crystal oscillator.

Pin 6 (XTALO): Clock output, also connected to the same external crystal oscillator.

Pins 54–62: Output 8-bit YUV data signals, routed to pins 107–116 of U400 (gm5010).

Pin 97 (TRST): Grounded.

Pin 80 (XTRI): Grounded.

Pins 13, 14, 18, 19: External filter capacitors.

Pins 9, 15, 24, 21, 26, 50, 76, 100, 38, 63, 88, 5: Ground connections.
